By creating this mural in Ghent my aim was to shed light on the dangerous traffic conditions at this specific location.. A lot of kids run around this neighborhood sharing the streets with cars and buses. While painting, I could witness more than one close call because drivers were not patient.
By creating this mural in Ghent my aim was to shed light on the dangerous traffic conditions at this specific location.. A lot of kids run around this neighborhood sharing the streets with cars and buses. While painting, I could witness more than one close call because drivers were not patient.
On the same street three kids were hit by cars in different events on the same day. This works pays hommage to Yagmur, Ferre and Esila who are still suffering the consequences one year after the events. Let's make the streets safer for all the kids.
