Life is a complex and dynamic journey, unlike the static and predictable movements of a river or a train. Although we often use these metaphors to describe life, they fall short of capturing the intricacies of our experiences. When we look back on our lives, we don't see a smooth and uninterrupted flow, but rather a series of branches and moments that we move between, sometimes taking great leaps and sometimes taking small steps. Our memories are not fixed, but rather change and adapt to the situation and context in which we remember them. Like a chameleon, switching color as the scene changes.
One can only navigate on this journey, carrying the weight of memories like luggage. They can be fragile and sometimes we even lose pieces during the travel.
